Thank God we’re finally back from the wedding. I was ready to go home over a week ago, but as usual we were held hostage. Grrrrrrrrrr! If we’d left earlier, Denver probably wouldn’t have caught the cold that went around, but fortunately my uncle and someone in the groom’s family (his brother-in-law?) are doctors. The wedding was nice since I didn’t have to do any work. My mom had to steam the wedding gown, and it had something like 150 little pearl buttons on it, which made that a major chore. Didn’t look like a wedding gown, either…more like a prom dress to me, but very expensive. She can probably wear it whenever they go out dancing, though, so I guess it’s worth the moolah.
Unfortunately I’ve fallen so far behind on NaNo that it’s doubtful I’ll catch up, but I’m gonna keep plugging away anyhow. Yayz that 10 of my 11 writing buddies have written something for NaNo this year! And four of them are ahead of me. And one of those has already finished. Gaaaaah! *writes and writes*
